At Denver Public Schools, everything we do is directed toward our goal of having Great Schools in Every Neighborhood. SchoolChoice plays a key role in attaining that goal. Any DPS student who wants to attend a school other than their automatically assigned neighborhood school can take part in SchoolChoice.

• English: When choosing schools in DPS SchoolChoice, go to the source – the schools themselves! There’s no substitute for scheduling a tour, walking the halls, meeting the teachers and talking to school leaders. Contact us to schedule a tour! 

Early Round

English: SchoolChoice is open! Now is the best time to find the best-fit school for your student. Apply by 4 p.m. on Jan. 20, 2026 at schoolchoice.dpsk12.org/apply. 

English: SchoolChoice season is here! You’ve done your research, now it’s time to rank your top schools. You can access the application online and get more information at schoolchoice.dpsk12.org.  Make sure to submit your application by Jan. 20, 2026 at 4 p.m.
