Early Access
In alignment with Colorado's Exceptional Children’s Education Act (ECEA), DPS offers early access to kindergarten and first grade. Read all about that process here. The fall Early Access interest form closes on October 15th.
Listening In
Neurodivergent Capacity: Why Can They Do It Sometimes But Not Every Time? - The Neurodiversity Podcast with Emily Kircher-Morris. When supporting neurodivergent kids, adults often struggle to balance when to gently challenge a child and when to pull back to prevent nervous system overload. Pushing too hard risks chronic distress and shutdown, but overprotecting can unintentionally create learned helplessness and limit opportunities for growth. Emily welcomes Dr. Emily King, a child psychologist, former school psychologist, and author of The Neurodivergent Learner, to talk about how parents and educators can work together to read a child's true capacity and build authentic engagement in school and at home.

We can't wait to welcome our students and families for the 2026–2027 school year! Be sure to stop by during one of our registration sessions:

📋 Please bring the following documents:
✅ Birth Certificate
✅ Proof of Address
✅ Proof of Income (ECE4 families only)
Having these documents ready will help make the registration process quick and easy!

As a reminder, due to our limited space, we ask that only two family members attend per student. Uniforms are not required.
When you arrive, please stop by the front office to sign in. At the conclusion of the event, be sure to sign out with your child's classroom teacher.

Rm 106- In classroom celebration 8:30-9:00am and 12:15-12:45pm
Rm 107- Celebration on playground 9:30-10:15am
Rm 108- 9:00-9:30am
Rm 109- 10:00-10:30am
Rm 110- 11:00-11:30am
Rm 111- 12:00-12:30pm
Rm 112- 1:00-1:30pm
Rm 113- 2:00-2:30pm

Como recordatorio, debido a nuestro espacio limitado, les pedimos que asistan únicamente dos familiares por estudiante. No es obligatorio el uso de uniforme.
Al llegar, por favor pasen por la oficina principal para registrar su entrada. Al finalizar el evento, asegúrense de registrar la salida de su hijo con la maestra.

Como recordatorio, NO habrá clases mañana, 22 de mayo, debido a un día de desarrollo profesional para el personal, ni el lunes 25 de mayo, con motivo del Día de los Caídos (Memorial Day). Esperamos ver a los estudiantes de regreso el martes 26 de mayo.
