As you may know, Denver Public Schools Safety and Security Department requires schools to have two (2) lockdown drills per year. This letter is to let you know that we had a lockdown drill at our school this morning at 10:13am for approximately 5 minutes.

Our classes have moved into the restaurant unit. Students will learn about different types of restaurants, roles within the restaurants and different skills within. This is a fun and engaging unit!
As a reminder, there will be no school January 19th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. All students will return January 20th.
As the weather becomes colder, please remember to send your child to school dressed appropriately for outdoor activities. This includes, but is not limited to, jackets, hats, boots, and gloves.
Students will continue to go outside for recess when the temperature is 30 degrees or higher, so being prepared for the cold will help ensure they are comfortable and able to enjoy their time outside.
