Dear Sandra Todd Williams Academy Parents:

As you may know, Denver Public Schools Safety and Security Department requires schools to have two (2) lockdown drills per year. This letter is to let you know that we had a lockdown drill at our school this morning at 10:13am for approximately 5 minutes.

Safety is a top priority in Denver Public Schools and at Sandra Todd Williams Academy. As always, feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns. Thank you for your support in keeping our students safe.

As the weather becomes colder, please remember to send your child to school dressed appropriately for outdoor activities. This includes, but is not limited to, jackets, hats, boots, and gloves.

Students will continue to go outside for recess when the temperature is 30 degrees or higher, so being prepared for the cold will help ensure they are comfortable and able to enjoy their time outside.

Thank you for your support and partnership!
